How to open HttpWatch in Chrome popup window

Hi there! The web app I’m testing opens a popup window with no toolbar. How can I open the HttpWatch window without using the toolbar button

You can open HttpWatch by right clicking in the popup and selecting HttpWatch from the browser context menu:

The popup window seems to be overriding the context menu is there anything else I can do?

You could try copying the URL from the location field in the popup window into a normal Chrome window. You should then be able to access the page in the normal way and use HttpWatch from the toolbar.

Alternatively, you could consider setting up automatic recording so that a log file is saved automatically at regular intervals from all windows, tabs and popups in Chrome:
